Mt Keira Scout Camp
At Mount Keira Scout Camp we will try to assist you to make the day as happy and memorable as possible.
The Bush Chapel is a lovely natural amphitheatre in a beautiful bush setting, which has been the scene of many weddings. The path to the chapel starts at the south end of the Swimming Pool and winds its way through the tropical rain forest. When you arrive, look up and see the beautiful tree ferns high up in the rain forest trees, the great giant Fig Tree alongside the Chapel and the Pulpit flanked by massive natural rocks.
The Glen is the most recently developed facility at the Camp. It is a most delightful bush setting. There is a stage at one end and 2 vantage points for photographers which overlook the whole area from behind and above the stage. The Area is dramatically lit with flood lights and the rocky bush escarpment behind the Glen is illuminated most effectively at night.
The Lodge is the focal point of the Camp and is a charming timber and sandstone building with a huge sandstone fireplace in the main hall with its panelled walls, timber beams and cathedral roof. It is ideal wedings for up to 100 people.
Mount Keira Scout Camp is temporarily closed for maintenance and will reopen late 2024
